What is anxiety?

  • Your body’s natural response to stress
  • Anxiety can come from avoiding things and not having skill or confidence to overcome them
  • Your insecurities are based in fear and make you anxious

How can you combat it?

  • When you face challenges or conflicts, you build courage alongside fear and anxiety
  • When you try and learn to overcome obstacles, you build confidence in your abilities and an experience base from which to pull from in the future
  • Understanding confidence is key to dealing with anxiety

What does confidence have to do with it?

  • Understanding confidence is key to dealing with anxiety
  • Confidence is not the same as arrogance. Just like humility is not the same as being a victim.
  • Being confident in the stuff that is you also means accepting your limits. This humility allows you to connect to people and have more realistic expectations for both yourself and others.
